As part of a series of initiatives aimed at providing resources to New York City - based early stage startups, The New York City Economic Development Corporation in partnership with legal experts from DLA Piper is excited to host a hands-on legal workshop. The goal of the workshop is to help startups navigate the legal complexities that arise when launching a new venture.

• Drafting and negotiating a term sheet with investors

After the workshop there will be an opportunity to network informally with fellow early stage companies, key city representatives involved with the startup sector and startup legal experts.
